We are looking for a student to join AASTED in identifying new customers and trends on a global scale, qualify leads, and provide our sales managers with the latest knowledge. As a pioneer in the market, we innovate high-quality Danish-made equipment within the chocolate, bakery, and confectionary industry. We operate in a continually growing market on a rapid scale, with new customers establishing themselves globally.
About the Position
As a Business Analyst, you will identify new customers and prepare quality lead generation reports for our sales managers. You will make data accessible and appealing for everyone in our commercial organization, including international offices, while ensuring it is properly used to achieve our commercial targets. This role is at the heart of our commercial strategy and vital for our growth. You will report to our Head of Commercial Operations and be part of the marketing team.
The position is based in our offices in Farum. We offer flexible working hours and expect you to work approximately 20 hours per week. We aim to create the right conditions for a great employee experience, allowing you to stay on track with your studies. In the office, we have a canteen and social activities across the company every month.

Your Responsibilities Include:
- Work closely with our business intelligence, marketing, and sales managers to consolidate internally and externally sourced data, identify key trends in global markets, and create illustrative presentations.
- Dedicated focus on delivering lead generation reports to sales managers, the global network of agencies, and international offices in the USA, Germany, India, and Turkey.
- Collaborate closely with sales teams to ensure data reports secure engagement and monitor progress.
- Analyze market trends within chocolate, bakery, and confectionery across the world to better prepare for sales and address the trends our customers are facing.
The ideal candidate should demonstrate an advanced understanding of key business principles combined with significant analytical and communication skills.
We Expect That You:
- Have great English communication skills, both verbal and written. Communicating in the Danish language is an advantage but not essential.
- Demonstrate high integrity and a consistent attitude to develop relationships within our commercial and finance teams.
- Have experience in extracting internal and external data and composing actionable reports.
We Anticipate That You:
- Study at CBS in your first years of your bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Statistics, Sales, or Marketing—or other quantitative business disciplines.
- Are IT literate and have great MS skills, especially Excel or PowerBI.
