This is who we are
At our HQ in Hedehusene, you will become part of Group Technology, which consists of more than 200 skilled colleagues who work together to deliver production equipment for our factories across the globe.
Here, you will join our GT Cold End and Systems team which counts approximately 40 passionate, skilled and knowledgeable colleagues who develop and implement the newest technologies for our stone wool production.

This is the role
As our new programmer, you will be navigating our project organisation as you join our endeavour to optimise and automate the flow for our semi and finished products. We are doing so by introducing a new MES-systems to our factories worldwide and here you will be instrumental in the development and adaptation of this new IT platform, which is based on the TrakSYS system.
More specifically you will:
- Join a project team working closely with the project manager in charge of the overall project
- Carry out development, adaptation, implementation and support of our new MES system in collaboration with other programmers
- Service and support ROCKWOOL production facilities all over the globe
- Spend time diving deep into TrakSYS and how we transport and store simi – and finished products
- Travel up to 50 - 70 days per year to projects in our production sites mainly in Europe and North America

Furthermore, we imagine that you:
- Have experience implementing similar systems
- Bring solid IT programming skills (C# and SQL) and an interest in software development
- Have general IT skills within network design, server settings, virtualisation, security etc.
- Have knowledge about PLC and SCADA systems
- Have broad knowledge of manufacturing processes and production efficiency
- Are fluent in English
