We are looking for a skilled, motivated, and energetic colleague for a full-time position in Biotech and Rare Disease QC (BRD QC). About the department
QC Microbial Competence Center, Biotech and Rare Disease QC (BRD QC) is located in Gentofte, and consists of 24 employees, organised in 2 teams, team “Clinical Support” and team “New Methods”. It is within the ‘New methods’ we seek a new colleague. The team has a central function in relation of development and validation of new state-of-the-art methods for microbiological analysis and Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) for products under development. About the job The team, which consists of 8 academics and 3 laboratory technicians, is responsible for developing analysis methods for testing of new products and ATMPs. You will contribute to the development of our NGS analysis platform in Novo Nordisk for detection of virus and microbial contaminants. Moreover, you will be expected to contribute to the ongoing optimisation of molecular biological part of the NGS method. The job is a 1-year maternity substitute.
Qualifications
To succeed in this role: You hold a Master´s Degree with a background such as molecular biology, microbiology, biotechnology, engineering, or another relevant field within the natural science. You have hands-on experience with molecular biological methods e.g. nucleic acid purification, qPCR, cDNA synthesis, Fragment analysis or similar. Illumina NGS platform Additionally skills of interest: Preferably with in-depth knowledge within virology or microbiology Bioinformatic experience Automated liquid handling robotics e.g. Biomek You have experience with cGMP, ICH guideline and pharmacopoeia requirements You have experience with equipment qualification and application management system.
