Summary:
Here, at Scandinavian Tobacco Group (STG) we are looking for the Senior Vice President of Planning & Fulfillment.
You will be responsible for both setting the ambitions and strategic direction for the area and managing the global daily operations of our global and complex supply chain. You’ll be managing all our global activities from planning to delivery, including global sales & operations planning, supply planning, purchasing, inventory management, warehouse operations, distribution and customer service for STG.
You will be part of a dynamic and diverse global team, reporting directly to Chief Supply Chain Officer and you will be having around 10 direct reports that are based globally. This position requires traveling up to 40% of your time and ideally, you will be based in Copenhagen, Denmark, Eindhoven, The Netherlands or in Belgium.

What you can expect in as the Senior Vice President of Planning and Fulfillment:
- Develop and implement effective planning and fulfillment strategies: You will be responsible for developing and implementing planning and fulfillment strategies that align with the overall goals and objectives of STG. This includes developing strategies for balancing demand and supply, purchasing, inventory management and delivery of goods and services.
- Lead a global team: You will be responsible for building and leading a high performance team of professionals in the planning and fulfillment department, ensuring that they are aligned with the STG’s mission and goals, highly engaged and motivated and that they have the resources and support they need to carry out their responsibilities effectively.
- Drive performance management: You will be responsible for analyzing data and generating insights related to demand, supply, inventory, and other key areas to measure performance against expectations and identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement.
- Drive operational efficiency and digitization: You will be responsible for driving operational efficiency and continuous improvement in the planning and fulfillment function, identifying, simplifying, and implementing best practices and process improvements as needed.
- Ensure customer satisfaction: You will be responsible for ensuring that products and services are delivered on time, at the right cost, and with high quality, leading to high customer satisfaction and a positive reputation for the company.
- Collaborate with other departments: You will work closely with other departments, such as sales, marketing, and finance, to ensure that planning and fulfillment activities are aligned with overall business objectives and strategies.
- Stay up to date on industry trends: You will need to stay up to date on industry trends, regulations, and standards, including those related to product safety, transportation, and environmental sustainability.
Your areas of knowledge and expertise (that matter the most for this role):
- You are a senior operation executive with solid experience with supply chain management preferably across sales and operation planning, purchasing, inventory management, warehouse operations, distribution and customer service from companies with high complexity in products and markets.
- You have strong leadership and people management experience, preferably a minimum of 10 years of experience in leadership positions within supply chain management in larger companies.
- Ideally, you have experience with working for FMCG companies or companies operating in highly regulated industries.
- You have proven experience with continuous improvement and performance management in supply chain organizations.
- You hold a Master’s degree within Supply Chain Management, Engineering or similar.
- On the personal side, you have strong analytical, strategic, and communication skills, as well as a track record of driving process improvements and delivering strong operational performance and transformation in a complex supply chain environment. You are emphatic and have strong interpersonal skills and are ambitious and thrive in a changing and fast paced environment.
