The position As an Environmental, Health & Safety Partner, you will have great impact by driving strategies and targets to promote and sustain the engagement for EHS through investment projects. You will work across multiple investment projects globally and align and drive EHS processes which create compliant and innovative EHS solutions and help Novo Nordisk to continuously improve our operations. This exciting role offers a highly diverse work week, with activities such as:
  • Developing and driving the Health & Safety network for Fill Finish Expansion and providing specialist support in fields like ergonomics and machine safety.
  • Setting the standard across site projects, assessing EHS impact of changes, and supporting design engineering to identify and handle Health & Safety risks.
  • Developing processes and tools for supplier evaluation and contracting, supporting Health and Safety in commissioning and validation phases.
  • Planning, preparing, and supporting external and internal EHS audits and maintaining/continuously improving the local EHS management system.
  • Ensuring standard processes like audits, reporting, risk-, and workplace assessments are executed efficiently.
  • The role is based in Lyngby, Denmark, and involves supporting EHS responsibilities in multiple global projects. Travel activities are expected to coordinate and align across the team. Qualifications You are an ambitious, structured individual with a passion for Environment, Health & Safety. You are excellent at stakeholder management. You possess a keen eye for designing new facilities and executing construction to create better workplaces for many. With a positive attitude, you approach tasks considering multiple perspectives, delivering high-quality results. You thrive in a mix of strategic and hands-on tasks, surrounded by supportive colleagues. To succeed in this position, you should:
  • Hold a bachelor's or master's degree in technical studies and have several years of professional experience from a similar role.
  • Possess knowledge of EHS legislative requirements and standards, such as ISO45001 and ISO14001.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication, stakeholder management, and informal leadership skills.
  • Take pride in motivating and engaging colleagues and managers, manage time well, and have great analytical skills.
  • Be fluent in both spoken and written English.
  • About the area You will be joining Fill & Finish Expansions. The area is anchored in Product Supply, Quality & IT, which globally employ approximately 20,000 of Novo Nordisk’s 50,000 employees. Fill & Finish Expansions is a newly established and growing area with the responsibility to design, plan and build all major fill & finish expansion projects across PSQIT to serve the needs of millions of patients. We do it by rethinking our fill & finish facilities with the use of modern technology. We are setting the standards for the facilities of the future, designing facilities we will still be proud of 20 years from now. Fill & Finish Expansions has a global approach, where you will be working with multiple sites and cultures across the world. About the department Fill & Finish HR Business Partnering is a small department supporting managers in Fill & Finish Expansions with P&O processes, leadership coaching, employee development, organizational design & manning, and daily P&O tasks. The department is newly established, and you will therefore have the opportunity to influence the role, the team and the P&O services in Fill & Finish Expansions.
