As Aseptic Production (AP) Support Director you will report directly to the Vice President (VP) of AP area and be part of the AP management team. You will be responsible for the operational tasks that are supporting filling activities of our existing filling line; Line 1 and the two future filling lines; Lines 5 (2024) and Line 6 (205) all located in Gentofte.
The AP Support department consist of approximately 170 employees, split in 8 teams. Your management team consist of a Senior Manager responsible for 4 operator teams, 4 associate manager leading the supporters, and GMP coordinators, cleaning specialist & EHS Supporter. The operations covered by AP support are:
- Formulation
- Wash & Sterilization
- Environmental Monitoring
- Cleaning, facilities, and HVAC in classified areas (grades A, B, C and D)
Your department will work closely with the other 3 production departments as well as our operational excellence department to ensure good coordination and support to each other.

Qualifications
You will be a great leader for the department because you have:
• Extensive managerial experience enabling you to lead through other leaders, setting the direction for your area, as well as coach and motivate your direct reports.
• Extensive experience within aseptic production, GMP and the pharmaceutical industry
• Strong believe on Lean leadership and experience in driving continues improvements, develop processes and employees in an engaging way.
• Experience on ramping up organisation and developing your department using digitalization and new technology.
• Full professional proficiency in English and a relevant academic degree.
You are comfortable in being challenged by senior stakeholders on your decisions. Your high integrity and robustness enable you to integrate different views in the decision-making process.
Having said that, we expect you can stay firm when needed to secure the production, quality, and compliance aspects in accordance with your area’s strategy and ambition. You have strong communication and stakeholder management skills when it comes to driving cultural changes. About the department
The AP site is situated in Gentofte, close to Copenhagen. Here we are app. 500 colleagues who take responsibility for transforming Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients into the finished product that patients can use all over the world. We are producing at full speed on existing lines while building and ramping up new state of the art facilities. We are part of Finished Products Gentofte and Værløse (FP GEVA), an organisation that has more than 700 very skilled employees.
Biotech & Rare Disease (BRD) FP GEVA AP is responsible for filling activities in Gentofte on our conventional Filling Line 1, and Isolator Line 7 as well as AP Support. Our AP area are being upgraded with two new state of the art Isolator Lines 5 and 6, and the area being upgraded with modern technology. The AP area consist of more than 450 highly qualified employees performing filling and AP Support around the filling lines. You will be heading an area where behavioural and production targets are driving our culture, enabling us to deliver to our patients and drive continuous improvements. Therefore, engagement and communication with all levels of employees is a key part of the job.
Our complex processes require a high level of expertise, commitment, and engagement from our employees and include formulation, filling, and freeze-drying.
