As a Senior Software Developer, you will join one of our product teams where you have a chance to immerse yourself not only in the tech, but also in understanding the ins and outs of the business challenge as you engage with team members, end-users, as well as internal partners to craft the best solutions. You are to join a cross-functional scrum team with a Product owner, UX/UI specialists, Front- and Backend Developers, and a Scrum Master. Together with your team members you will apply best practices for software development, and you will also contribute to sharing best practices across our agile teams. Additionally, your key responsibilities are to:
  • Build, optimize, deploy, and maintain our digital products with focus on continuous delivery and building next generation digital architecture
  • Use agile engineering practices as well as various software development technologies and tools to rapidly develop creative and efficient solutions that deliver value to the end users and the company
  • Inspire and challenge the organization with your knowledge of various technologies and tools on how to solve complex business problems
  • Take part in establishing a strong capability within Software Development to ensure knowledge sharing and sparring across the product teams
  • Supervise, mentor, and coach junior colleagues
    • We are passionate about building full end-to-end digital solutions using cloud, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing. The tech stack you will be working on consists of services from AWS, a RESTful API written in Python, and a frontend written in Vue.js / TypeScript What we’re looking for To be a successful candidate we expect you tick most of the following:
  • MSc or higher degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or other relevant field
  • 5+ years of experience in Backend software development
  • 3+ years of experience in Python programming
  • Solid understanding of RESTful API design, relational databases, and web development
    • As a person you are positive with a can-do attitude, communicate effectively, be empathetic but also pragmatic. You are to be a good listener and learner when facing resistance.
