Are you passionate about microbiology and motivated by ensuring delivers high-quality products to our patients worldwide? If so, apply now as QC Chemist within Biotech and Rare Disease (BRD) and become part of Microbiology 2 (MIC2), located in Hagedornsvej, Gentofte! The position As QC Chemist, you will be responsible for several of the team's microbiological analyses including sterile tests, germ checks and other microbiological tests.
Other tasks will include: Preparation of documentation: Analytical regulations, instructions, laboratory tests and deviation reports, etc. Supporting the team's labs. Responsible for validation of analytical methods and preparation of answers to authority questions. Responsible for your area of responsibility during inspections by various authorities. Supporting management. The team consists of 2 microbiologists and 9 laboratory technicians of mix of experience, from students to staff with more than 30 years of experience. In the team, there is a strong focus on helping each other and providing feedback to support optimisation of processes and having a strong community. There will be a focus on your development and training to support you going forward! Qualifications Your experiences include: Academic degree education e.g. Pharmacist, Engineer or relevant. 2 years+ of experience within microbiology/ similar position. Experience/ an interest in process optimisation to improve workflows. You enjoy working with engineering and laboratory equipment. Project management experience is advantageous. The position includes routine work in an operating laboratory, where every day can be dynamic and changeable. Therefore, you see yourself as someone who can be flexible and a good team player to support working relationships with colleagues and customers. You are proactive in your approach with a focus on quality and attention to detail. About the Department BRD QC Microbiology belongs organizationally to Product Supply, and we perform all microbiological analyses on in-process samples, bulk, finished goods, raw materials, environment, and new products from all over BRD. Our work is central to ensuring high quality products and on-time delivery at our more than 62 customer departments. The department consists of four teams that work closely together. We are a total of about 68 people in the department, including 15 microbiologists. The other employees are laboratory technicians, specialists, managers, and administrative staff.

We are more than 3400 dedicated colleagues working at six production sites in Denmark and the United States. Here we cover the entire production value chain where raw materials are cultivated, purified, formulated, filled, assembled in devices, packed, and distributed across the globe. As more and more people need our products, we support 's initiatives in new therapy areas. Every day, we work to streamline and expand our capacity through process innovation, automation, and the introduction of new technology.
