Project QA for the future active pharmaceutical ingredient (API) production Would you like to have a lot of room to influence our processes and set QA direction for the future active pharmaceutical ingredient (API)? production? Then, this is your chance to be on the project from the beginning and to work across the value chain. Your work will be vital to the success of our area Biotech & Rare Disease (BRD) and Novo Nordisk. We are looking for different background and expertise as we have several open positions for different areas of subject matter expertise such as validation, EM, facilities and IT/automation. The Position As project QA professional for the API capacity expansion, you will be in the journey of building the new facility, setting all the right directions, and knowing the facility from the very start. When finished you will be part of the QA team for the future API facility. The project will be placed in Hillerød and during the project execution the team will be QA for the project team, whose purpose is to build the new API capacity. Your work is guided by our purpose in Product Supply: To be on the forefront of technology of manufacturing and aiming at continuous, automated, and state of the art facility. Qualifications To succeed in this role, you need to have:
  • A master’s degree in Natural Sciences, Engineering or related fields.
  • Experience within relevant areas of Pharma and GMP. Eg minimum 1 year of experience with Validation, EM, IT/automation.
  • A fluent oral and written English. Danish proficiencies.
    • About The Department BRD QA API Denmark is in Gentofte, Hillerød and Kalundborg. This is where the active ingredients, going into all our life-saving biotech products are produced and we are approximately 60 engaged and dedicated QA’s supporting our line of businesses. We manufacture through complex chemical and biotechnological processes requiring a high level of expertise, commitment, and engagement from our employees and including cultivation, recovery, purification, and freeze-drying. We are producing at full speed in existing facilities, while building and ramping up new state of the art additions to keep up with demand and new Novo Nordisk products. We bring value to patients by delivering the purest possible high-quality API made in compliance with GMP. We drive change by always looking for improvements within our processes, but also in the way we work together to make our products reach as many patients as possible.
