As our new Advanced R&D Test Engineer, your main responsibilities are: to manage test projects: define and manage requirements, plan and design verification activities, coordinate and delegate deliverables and facilitate solutions to mitigate project risks
to design verification activities, test protocols, and reports, covering explorative testing, design verification tests and shelf-life tests
to contribute with knowledge of the design verification processes
to identify and drive improvement opportunities in order to develop our test procedures and programmes to become even better suited for their purpose
You will be working in collaboration with the project teams to use your interpersonal skills to challenge status quo while focusing on solutions and opportunities. Further, you will engage in and contribute to a continuous high professional passion and engagement within the test engineering team.
QualificationsWe believe the ideal candidate for the position meets the following requirements: You hold an academic degree within Engineering (e.g. mechanical, biomedical) or similar.
You have 2-4 years of experience working with test planning, data analysis and reporting, or similar
have work experience within medical device development and/or with design control processes for medical devices or development of drug-device combination products.
Your language proficiency in both written and spoken English is at a professional level.
It is an advantage if you: have acquired knowledge of test standards, equipment and/or method validations and how to navigate in a GMP-regulated environment.
have experience working with globalLIMS and/or agile working.
have a proven record of process improvements
As a person, you are proactive, have a ‘can do’ attitude and drive problem solving. In your work you maintain a good overview while ensuring that important details are in place. You contribute to a positive work atmosphere, and you have a track record of successful collaboration towards realising shared objectives. In Experiments & Design Verification, we are responsible for explorative testing, development of test methods and design verification testing of injection devices and new connected and innovative solutions for drug delivery. Our work is a key part of the device development process, we collaborate with stakeholders across the organisation, and we strive for excellence in everything we do.
