The Position As Associate Manager you will lead and coach a team of 15 highly dedicated and competent employees. Your future team has the responsibility for different areas in the department including, mechanical testing pens for release, securing training in department, receiving samples, and labware dish washing, etc. Your tasks will be:
  • To ensure the correct prioritization of tasks.

  • Support your team, in both personal and professional development.

  • Be a motivator for the team in working with continuous improvements and thereby helping to find new and smarter ways.

  • Secure that the team will introduce automated test equipment

  • You will report to the Department Manager and be part of the management team. Qualifications To succeed in this role, you have:
  • A bachelor or master’s degree in natural sciences, engineering or similar.

  • Knowledge of GMP industry.

  • A high level of drive, initiative and you are result-oriented.

  • Motivation to drive changes and improvements, involving many stakeholders at various organisational levels.

  • Good communications skills in English are required, and Danish is desirable.

  • You are passionate about people management, with ability to inspire and motivate others and empower your team members. You have strong analytical skills to deliver excellent results. Moreover, you will be expected to contribute to ongoing optimisation of our existing processes. This also entails being curious, about how other teams and departments work, both within and outside Novo Nordisk. About the Department The chemical QC department is a part of Injectable Finished Products (IFP) Manufacturing Development, and consists of 75 employees, organized in 4 teams. We are physically located in Hillerød. The department is responsible for a wide variety of analysis on diabetes finished products (primarily HPLC), covering release, ID, stability and mechanical tests of pens The QC department is a part of the VP-area, IFP QC DK, which consist of 2 chemical laboratories, 1 microbiological laboratory and a digitalisation and automation department.
