If you are passionate about innovation, driven to make a difference, and want to be part of a team dedicated to improving the lives of people with diabetes and other chronic diseases, the apply to the position of Senior Innovation Lead and be part of our Device Innovation Dept. within Devices & Delivery Solutions (DDS). The position You will be working together with a great team of engineers, specialists and other key stakeholders across the organisation to execute on the newly implemented DDS strategy and bring new innovative devices and delivery solutions forward to the benefit of our patients. In particular, your key tasks will be to: • Identify, evaluate, and develop new technologies and concepts, ensuring that we stay at the forefront of delivery solution innovation. • Lead the development of new delivery solution innovations, including digital solutions. • Communicate and present project updates to senior management and key stakeholders • Drive the development of intellectual property to protect new innovations Qualifications To be successful in this position, you will need: • A PhD or Master's degree in engineering, physics, design or other relevant field • Some years of experience in the medical device industry, including experience in innovation and product development • Good understanding of medical device development and regulatory requirements • Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing complex projects • Proven ability to identify and evaluate new technologies and concepts • Strong communication and presentation skills As a person, you are proactive, have a ‘can do’ attitude and drive problem solving. In your work you maintain a good overview while ensuring that important details are in place. You contribute to a positive work atmosphere, and you have a track record of successful cross-collaboration towards realizing shared objectives. About the department DDS consists of more than 300 colleagues who work dedicated on designing and developing innovative medical devices and digital therapeutic solutions for our patients. In Device Innovation we have the 5D (Diagnostics, Drug, Delivery Solution, Digital and Data) approach and our sustainability ambitions raise the bar for what future innovations must surpass to fulfil our leadership ambitions. We are responsible for conceptualizing and bringing forward new and innovative solutions for drug delivery, including connected solutions. Our work is a key part of the device research up till the development process and we collaborate with stakeholders across the organization.
