The position The Medical Device Verification Specialist is a versatile role working with multiple stakeholders from line management and process experts, test- and validation engineers as well as commercial device manufacturing and CMC. You will be participating in relevant internal stability and verification process groups as well as knowledge sharing and ISO groups within design verification on behalf of Novo Nordisk. Your key responsibilities: Interpreting requirements and ensuring our processes and quality systems are compliant with the relevant requirements Supporting the teams in simplifying the operational processes Training, guiding and supporting colleagues and projects in designing optimal verification approaches for the different development projects to ensure that we not only get our devices approved but also create a scalable and robust control process from development to finished goods production Qualifications University degree in for example engineering or natural science or alternatively you have a relevant background from the medical device industry working with medical device regulations and compliance A minimum of 10 years of experience in design verification is required Demonstrable experience in design control and verification Knowledge of QMS systems is considered a minimum Continuous improvement mindset with a proven track record optimising processes As a person you are structured and a solid communicator with a strong drive for simplifying our approach to device verification and an ability to cut through complexity within the regulatory framework. You are a team player who can support and empower your colleagues through capability building and are keen on supporting the leadership team in setting direction within device verification. About the department Devices & Delivery Solutions has a long and outstanding track-record of developing the best, most innovative, and widely used injection devices in the world. In the development of medical devices, we ensure that user insights and innovation go hand in hand with a strong quality mindset. Testing & Verification plays an important role in the medical device and primary packaging development process, as we deliver specialised exploratory testing and design verifications. It is our responsibility to specify, develop, purchase, and validate new test equipment to support and conduct verification testing of medical devices and delivery solutions.
