The position As an Advanced R&D Test Engineer, you will be working in collaboration with the platform project teams and will make use of your interpersonal skills to challenge the status quo while focusing on solutions and opportunities. Your key responsibilities will include: • Leading and managing testing platform projects: defining and managing requirements, planning and designing verification activities, coordinating and delegating deliverables, and facilitating solutions to mitigate project risks. • Authoring test protocols and reports, covering explorative testing, design verification tests, and stability tests. • Identifying improvement opportunities and driving initiatives to develop our test procedures and programs to better suit their intended purpose. • Actively sharing knowledge within the team and with stakeholders. Qualifications To be considered for this position, we expect you to: Hold an academic degree in Engineering (e.g., mechanical, biomedical) or a related field. Have a minimum of 2 years of experience in test planning, data analysis, reporting, or similar transferable skills. Possess work experience in medical device development, design control processes for medical devices, or the development of drug-device combination products. Demonstrate experience in independently managing projects or initiatives. Have a professional level of proficiency in both written and spoken English. Possess knowledge of test standards, equipment, method validations, navigating in a GMP-regulated environment, and a proven track record of driving process improvements or training others is an advantage. As an individual, you are proactive, maintain a "can-do" attitude, and possess strong problem-solving skills. In your work, you consistently maintain a comprehensive overview while ensuring that crucial details are in place. You actively contribute to a positive work atmosphere and have a proven track record of successful collaboration in achieving shared objectives. Your analytical mindset allows you to adeptly navigate the intersection between data, people, and processes. About the department You will join the Testing & Verification department, which plays an important role in the medical device and primary packaging development process, as we deliver specialised exploratory testing and design verifications. It is our responsibility to specify, develop, purchase, and validate new test equipment to support and conduct verification testing of medical devices. If you join our department, you will get 55 passionate colleagues with different backgrounds, including laboratory technicians, engineers, and specialists.
