The position
As Senior QA Supplier Manager at ALK you drive and contribute to the maintenance activities and improvements of the quality processes related to supplier management. This job will provide you a large interface with the ALK manufacturing sites, Procurement, and a quality responsibility of global suppliers.
Joining Global Quality, you will become part of a dynamic team with dedicated employees based at the ALK Head Office in Hørsholm. We are working with quality supplier activities towards global suppliers to ALK and improvements of the quality supplier management process in close collaboration with global stakeholders.
Your primary responsibility will be to conduct quality supplier management activities for global suppliers such as:
You must expect to travel approx. 15 days/year.
Your qualifications
Your educational background covers a Master of Science in e.g., pharmacy, engineering, chemistry, or you have another relevant educational background. You have some years of experience from the pharmaceutical or medical device industry and thereby have experience working with GMP/GDP/ISO 9001. Experience with audits (as lead auditor) and supplier management activities will be an asset.
Most important is that you have an interest in working with the complexity of quality supplier management. You bring a can-do attitude and are willing to challenge yourself while building routines and supporting your colleagues. You are deadline focused and can drive several tasks simultaneously.
As a person you are outgoing and curious of nature. You are result driven, pro-active, pragmatic, and a team player that can also work independently. Furthermore, you possess excellent communication skills, and you master Danish and English at a professional level.

- Contribute to the improvements and updates of the quality processes related to supplier management.
- Supplier approval.
- Supplier audits – both on-site and remotely.
- Preparation and approval of Supplier Quality Agreements and Supplier Change Notification Agreements.
- Preparation and handling of change control cases.
- Handling and evaluation of supplier change notifications.
- Handling of complaints towards global suppliers.
- Conducting supplier evaluations.
- Trouble shooting with suppliers, Procurement, and users.
- Support the team in acting on different ad hoc tasks.
You must expect to travel approx. 15 days/year.
