Operation Support Engineer for Renewable Service Projects
We are currently looking for highly skilled and dedicated Operations Support Engineer to handle the daily operational management of our Renewable Service blue collars, and sub-contractors to execute projects in mainly northern Europe and the UK.
The Operations Support Engineer will as part of the team, work to ensure our projects are always manned with competent crew while complying with local regulation requirements and company procedures.
You will report directly to the Operations Manager in Denmark and take part of the daily operational tasks in terms of planning, recruiting and time management.
You are experienced in MS Office 365 and resource planning tools. Babcock & Wilcox Renewable Service have developed their own time management and resource planning tool named WSP. The application is continuously under development and you will take part in this process as well.

Work in an International Set-up
Babcock & Wilcox Renewable Service is part of a global setup where we do service on power plants, industrial plants etc. across the world. Currently the business is focused on the Scandinavian and UK markets, but we are committed to expanding to a larger global scope.
The Operations department currently consists of a operations support team of three employees, whose main task is to deploy our 56 blue collars and supplement with blue collars from contractors in Denmark, Poland, Portugal etc.
Together with our operations support team, you’ll plan and ensure that each project has sufficient workforce to execute the tasks efficiently and safely. Safety is a top priority!
Renewable Service offers
An informal work environment, where humor is valued, especially during the service season typically going from March to October each year. You’ll be working from one of our offices in either Holsted or Taastrup (Copenhagen) and of course mobile phone and laptop. Company travel is paid for via a company provided credit card and will be according to the requirements of the projects. An international work environment, a changeable workday experience as well as opportunities to develop skills and qualifications.

Tasks
- Allocate blue collars (internal and external) to projects
- Coordinate travel and living arrangements for blue collars during projects
- Register and track deviations, improvements and preventive actions in our Management system
- Participate in team meetings, contributing constructively towards the common goal
Requirements
- Demonstrated proficiency with resource planning and deployment.
- Experience in working with crew/workmen and knows how to coordinate them in terms of work planning
- Proactive and positive attitude, ability to corporate in an open and constructive manner
- Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills with demonstrated resourcefulness and flexibility both internally and externally.
- You write and speak English at an advanced level. Danish proficiency is an advantage
- Experience with travel booking and coordination
- Structural and systematic problem solver
- Experience with Danish Industry’s collective agreement is an advantage.
