Apply now for a life-changing career! The position You will work with securing the best medicine for our patients in a team of 16 colleagues of both other scientists and laboratory technicians. You will cooperate with other laboratory teams in the department and the Insulin Manufacturing 1 (IM1) production plant. As a QC scientist/ supporter you will be the main go-to person for the HPLC analyses of our products and collaborate with other QC laboratories in Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API) production. Your job will also involve: Coordinating cross-departmental tasks on behalf of the department Supporting the lab technicians Optimizing processes, and implementing changes Deviation handling Working with Lean and data analysis Qualifications To succeed in this role, you:
Hold a relevant academic degree in natural sciences, engineering, pharmacology or similar You have GMP experience and knowledge about cLEAN Preferable have experience with HPLC analysis in the laboratory from the pharmaceutical industry or another GMP-regulated environment, as well as QC compliance experience. On a personal level, you possess a great sense of curiosity, humor, as well as an open and positive mind. Also, you are able to work independently in a structured way whilst still being a strong team player – both within the team but also in work relations across the department and area. You thrive in a dynamic environment with a proactive approach within your area of responsibility where You see possibilities instead of limitations. In order to be successful in the position, you are able to translate to new priorities easily and independently ensure flow in Your tasks. Last but not least You are able to communicate across professional boundaries – bot in English and Danish. About the department In Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API), located in Kalundborg, we produce insulin and GLP-1 to help people living with chronical diseases like diabetes and obesity. We always have many exciting projects across Novo Nordisk - some require entirely new setups to utilize the opportunities in contemporary technology, while other are more focused on optimizing existing setups. Insulin Manufacturing 1 in Kalundborg is the world’s largest insulin factory. We produce the active ingredients which are the main component in many of Novo Nordisk’s products including our new oral product Rybelsys® for which we have high expectations. IM1 is unique as we have the entire production chain gathered under one roof. The QC department in IM1 consists of 5 teams and consists of approximately 50 colleagues all in all.
