Apply now and join us as our new Project Director for Quality Control Strategy!The position In this role, you will be responsible for establishing and executing a new strategy for the QC laboratories, driving expansion in the PS API (Product Supply, Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients) laboratories. You will work closely with the QC Directors to set the direction for the QC strategy and support its execution. You can look forward to: Defining strategy for the future QC, with a focus on reducing manual work, increasing the stability and efficiency of laboratory processes. Supporting QC Directors in change management and ensuring that the new strategy is aligned with business objectives. Driving project execution of both the strategy and the expansion project, working closely with the business support team to ensure that the project is completed on time and within budget. Supporting us in identifying and eliminating waste in the laboratory processes, collaborating closely to streamline processes and reduce costs. Furthermore, you will be indirectly leading project teams to ensure project success. Qualifications We imagine that a successful candidate might have: An academic degree within science, engineering, pharmacy or similar Experience with project management or management, and leading projects on a large scale Experience within the pharmaceutical/GMP environment or another highly regulated environment. It is a strong advantage if you have laboratory experience and an understanding of QC processes, as well as LEAN competencies Fluency in written and verbal English. As a person, you have a business outlook with the ability to combine technology and driving innovation with a sharp eye for prerequisites. You are a natural networker; you see yourself as a curious individual and enjoy working in a team to see possibilities. Furthermore, you have a flair for clear communication and can make things simple when interacting with stakeholders across areas. About the department This position will be anchored in PS API Manufacturing Development (MDev) as part of the Business Support to the CVP of PS API MDEV. Aside from the Directors, you will work closely together with colleagues across the 4 laboratory departments, local API project coordinators and colleagues driving various innovation projects across NN. In PS API laboratories we are 340 colleagues, allocated in 4 different departments and we are responsible for performing all QC analysis across API DK, as well as supporting manufacturing development. Our goal is to enhance laboratory efficiency and stability by minimizing manual work and automating laboratory processes. In the long-term, we aim to transform our laboratories into connected and highly automated environments.
