You can help people with diabetes or other chronical diseases in a lot of ways. Working as QC Specialist in our QC laboratory in Kalundborg is one of them. We are looking for an experienced specialist that will be a part of our PPQC department.

The position
You will be a part of the management group and work closely with the Chemists and Laboratory Technicians within the department and across PSAPI QC.
Furthermore, you will:
• Set the direction within quality control together with PPQC management and the chemists in the department
• Perform various compliance tasks and provide support to PPQC on a daily basis.
• Support the Laboratory Technicians and chemist in their daily operations to ensure that the compliance, quality and analytical performance live up to the industry standard.
• Ensure close cooperation with our stakeholders (production and QA) and with our PS API Manufacturing Development department
• Have the possibility to head up a process group across PS-API within your area of knowledge You can look forward to an exciting and varied working day where you have influence on both the department´s and your work. It will also be your opportunity to build a strong network within Novo Nordisk while developing your skills further.
Qualifications
• Hold a bachelor or a master’s degree from natural sciences, engineering, pharmacology or similar.
• Have extensive experience with chemical analysis from laboratory in the pharmaceutical industry or other GMP regulated environment
• Have experience from the production in the pharmaceutical industry
• Have experience with LEAN mindset and tools
• It is an advantage if you can speak Danish, but it is not a prerequisite

In Diabetes Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API), located in Kalundborg, we produce insulin and GLP-1 to help people living with chronical diseases like diabetes and obesity. We always have many exciting projects across Novo Nordisk - some require entirely new setups to utilise the opportunities in contemporary technology, while other are more focused on optimising existing setups.
In Purification Plants (PP) in Kalundborg we produce the active ingredients which are in many of Novo Nordisk’s products.
