Novo Nordisk manufacturing in Kalundborg, DK is growing fast. Join us in exciting times, where we’re ramping up our automation capacity and capabilities. We are expanding to support the production of Novo Nordisk’s current and future oral and injectable products, and we are increasing the automation level of our processes. The position You will be responsible for supporting and coding our production execution systems LMES (Local Manufacturing Execution Systems) and SattLine (Process Control System). We use LMES to run our production recipes and to gather data for our batch reports. SattLine is an ABB system we use to monitor and control the process in the individual production units. Both systems are mature and will be replaced in the coming years with state-of-the-art MES and PCS applications. Thus, the job offers an opportunity to become part of upgrading our production IT platform. Your responsibility summed up: Supporting daily operations and contribute to the effective execution of our production processes. Develop and code new updates to SattLine and/or LMES to optimise our production processes. Take part in projects and provide input on automation solutions to our stakeholders. Qualify & document the changes in the system and ensure that the QA Department approval. Collaborate with operators and supporters to analyse and identify possible optimisations and support the work on deviations in production via troubleshooting and system tests. As you will be working with production, you will have broad opportunities to develop your skills and engage in hands-on experience within pharmaceutical manufacturing. Qualifications

The successful candidate will have the next qualifications: An Educational background within Computer Science or Automation Experienced in programming production-related systems Knowledge in ABB-systems, i.e., Sattline, will be an advantage; also, experience with GMP or Pharma Production is preferred. Senior Programmers are encouraged to apply. As a person, you are proactive, work independently and have a solid drive to get things done timely. You can collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders across a large organisation, and it is essential that you have good language, as well as communicative, skills enabling efficient communication across the organisation and levels. About the Department In API Manufacturing, we ensure insulin production for more than 30 million people living with diabetes and other chronic diseases. The automation team in Purification Plants (PP) ensures that all automated production processes are running effectively, working optimally, and configured towards the best possible productivity and quality. Days in the automation support-team are rarely the same, and your workdays will be diverse with a mix of both daily operations, troubleshooting, support to projects and sparring with colleagues and peers in other parts of the organisation.
