Novo Nordisk has announced plans to invest more than DKK42 billion to expand existing manufacturing facilities in Kalundborg, to support the current and future company portfolio within serious chronic diseases.
Would you like to join a dynamic global company and work on an exciting new project? Are you interested in the opportunity to establish potential new Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API) manufacturing facilities that bridges new and automated technologies with strong know-how and expertise in biotech manufacturing? The activities will be carried out at our site in Kalundborg, Novo Nordisk hub for API manufacturing.
The position You can look forward to supporting the project around new equipment, systems and processes for selected steps of the downstream processing. You will be responsible for the design, procurement, installation, and validation of a large-scale bio-pharma production facility. Your responsibility will be within either solid/liquid separation (centrifugation) and/or various filtration technologies and/or dispensing processes. We are looking for a number of people, and encourage you to indicate if you have any preference.
You will take an active part in a competent owner organisation and collaborating with colleges from various disciplines and organisations.
After the project is finished, the role will continue into an operational role, in which you will take a significant position in the Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient manufacturing organisation.
Qualifications We are looking for professionals in the field of downstream processing. To be successful in this role, we imagine that you have: • Knowledge about biotechnology or chemical process technology within large-scale production facilities.
• Minimum a bachelor’s level education in chemistry, pharmaceutical, mechanical process engineering or similar.
• Good understanding of Good manufacturing Practise (GMP).
• It would be an advantageous if you have knowledge and experience of working in an API manufacturing plant or similar operational organisation and/or experience within investment projects in a Life Sciences environment.
• Strong communication skills both in spoken and written English.
