The Position You will be part of the IT & Automation Management team, collaborating to define priorities, targets, and team guidance. Your technical expertise will be crucial in providing input on project decisions, driving our standards throughout the project, and ensuring that we meet the project deliverables. You will be responsible for: Hiring, onboarding, and training new members of the automation team Providing direction to your team in order to succeed in the delivery of our Automation systems Collaborating closely with stakeholders, external partners, and other automation organizations across API Continued team leadership and management going from project to operations Being a role model for the Novo Nordisk Way As an Automation Team Lead you will hire, develop, motivate, coach, and manage individuals in the automation team, ensuring day-to-day support during the project period and later in operations. This project requires your expert project management skills as you act as a work package owner for the Automation System delivery. Your main location will be in Kalundborg, in close proximity of the manufacturing sites. As a lot of our collaboration partners work around Copenhagen, it is expected that you will also occasionally travel to work in those locations. The project is of great strategic importance to Novo Nordisk, which has high visibility and support from Senior Management. At the same time, you will have a foot inside Novo Nordisk’s IT organization which supports all major expansion projects as well as operations. Qualifications To succeed in this role, you: Hold an M.Sc. or B.Sc. in an Engineering or IT discipline Are experienced within IT and/or Automation; either from operations and maintenance, or from project participation Possess experience leading technical teams Have good knowledge of manufacturing processes and requirements Communicate fluently in spoken and written English Having experience within the Pharma industry or other highly regulated industry (GMP) would be preferred. You are structured in your way of working and open to share information with your colleagues, work together as a team, and drive for joint results. You thrive in a multicultural environment and have an open mind-set. You have strong communication skills for collaboration.
