Implement event driven, API first components running in the cloud.
As Backend Developer you will become part of the Technology & Innovation Division and work in a cross functional agile team. Together with your colleagues, you will use your skills to design, build and run the best possible solutions for improving our ferry and road transport services in Europe. We offer you a working environment that will help you shape your career with our modern tech stack, which is continually evolving.
We expect you to:
- Currently pursuing bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, computer science or related field with at least 2 semesters remaining
- Have a “can-do”-attitude, an eagerness to learn and motivation to grow your skills to the next level
- Have programming experience in C#/Java outside of the classroom
- Engage and collaborate within your agile team
- Be able to work 2-3 days a week
- Be open to learn our new stuff
Knowledge and experience are not a requirement, but we do expect that you have an interest in some of our tech stack examples:
- C#/.NET Core
- AWS (Lambda, IAM, CloudWatch, DynamoDB, RDS, OpenSearch Service ...etc.)
- Docker and Kubernetes
- Microservices using REST API & Event Driven Development
- Relational databases, e.g. Microsoft SQL Server
- Azure DevOps and Git
