Are you looking for a position in which you can set a strategic direction on social media and help position DFDS as a leading European transport and logistics company, on the move towards a greener and more digitised future?
Then this is a unique opportunity to be our newest addition to Group Communications as Global Social Media Manager.
The position is a maternity cover, based in our new fantastic Headquarter by the water in Copenhagen.
You can look forward to being part of a great team of communicators working with a broad range of stakeholders within our ferry and passenger business unit, marketing, people and senior leadership across Europe and Turkey.

More specifically, you will oversee the planning, producing, and publishing of social media content on our group’s Social Media platforms.

What kind of exciting challenges can you expect to meet in this role?
- Secure execution of the content strategy, including weekly content planning
- Write fantastic copy and produce creative content to inspire and engage our followers
- Engage daily with our followers
- Collect and analyse data, optimising paid media activities, identifying trends and insights to achieve maximum results
- Promote employee advocacy and train team members on best social media practise
- Control social media budget
About you

With this in mind, we think that you have:
- Minimum 3-5 years of work experience
- Excellent at content planning and structuring your work
- Proven hands-on experience as a social media strategist or social media manager
- Strong expertise in particular within social media and Paid Media in general
- Great communicator who understands the power of the written word when communicating with employees, customers and stakeholders
- Ability to produce creative content (pictures, videos, infographics, podcasts)
- Ability to analyse data and provide evidence-based recommendations
- Ability to identify target audience preferences and produce content to meet these preferences
- Knowledge of Adobe Analytics dashboard will be an advantage
