We are looking for a new communications partner for our EVP, Ferry Division

The EVP Communications Partner position is based in Copenhagen with the possibility of working remotely and is reporting to the Head of Communications, Business Partnering. You will become part of the communications partner team working with colleagues in our Copenhagen headquarter and throughout Europe.
The team is responsible for developing and executing media, digital, and social media initiatives, leadership communications, communications advisory, and internal communications, aiming to protect and improve DFDS' reputation and support its business strategy.

Key responsibilities
You will develop and drive comprehensive communications for the Ferry Division and select business-critical portfolios across divisions including the sustainability agenda.
You will function as a strategic partner to the EVP of Ferry and increase communication excellence in the organisation through advise, training, planning and production of high-quality content.
The ideal candidate is an energetic self-starter who enjoys engaging with colleagues across functions and levels and work in a creative team to create excellence. You have a strong track record in producing high-quality, crisp messaging and presentations for senior executives, a demonstrated ability to work with confidential information, exemplary organisational skills, and an uncompromising eye for quality and detail while working on several projects simultaneously.

- Ensure strategic business priorities are communicated effectively in internal news and on DFDS SoMe channels
- Develop leadership communications skills
- Create best-in-class internal communication content and utilize the O365 toolbox to increase employee engagement
- Support planning and execution of all staff meetings
- Give tactical and operational communication support on business-critical issues
- Create communication advisories on key priorities
- Support planning and execution of all staff meetings
- Continuously improve communication effectiveness, e.g. via communication reviews
The ideal candidate
- You have +5 years of experience within strategic communications - preferably with a large international or listed company
- Has outstanding verbal and written English communication skills
- Is an experienced communications advisor
- Has a strategic mindset and are quick to gain in-depth business understanding
- Is ambitious and proactively influences decisions to enable efficient and engaging communication
- Has experience working with O365 and SharePoint.
- Works calmly and maintains good judgment in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Has substantial stakeholder management experience and likes working with a broad range of stakeholders
- Preferably has experience in the area of transport & logistics and sustainability
- Loves to work in a team and has fun while doing it
