Job Overview: As the Managing Director of Scandinavia, you will be responsible for leading and expanding our operations in the Scandinavian market. Your strategic vision, strong leadership skills, and deep understanding of the retail industry will be instrumental in driving business growth and achieving our goals in this region. You will report directly to the Chief Operations Officer (COO) and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional results.

The overall retail success of our Hunkemöller store in DK, NO, & SE, our Regional Managers and their stores are your responsibility On a daily base, you coach your Regional- and their Store Managers in running successful Retails store with the help of constant KPI analysis and development You are in touch with your teams and empower your managers to grow their people

Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive business strategy for Scandinavia, aligned with the company's overall objectives, to drive revenue growth, market share, and brand recognition.
- Oversee all aspects of the business, including sales, operations, marketing, finance, and HR, ensuring effective coordination and alignment across departments.
- Lead and motivate a diverse team of managers and employees, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment that encourages high performance and employee development.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to identify opportunities for product innovation, expansion, and differentiation.
- Establish strong relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, franchise partners, landlords, and industry associations, to drive collaboration and mutually beneficial partnerships.
- Drive operational excellence by optimizing processes, enhancing efficiency, and ensuring adherence to quality standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
- Analyze financial performance, set ambitious targets, and manage the budget to achieve profitability and cost control objectives.
- Champion the Hunkemöller brand values and ensure consistent brand positioning, visual merchandising standards, and exceptional customer experiences across all stores and online platforms.
- Collaborate with the global leadership team to share best practices, align strategies, and contribute to the overall success of the company.

Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven track record of successful leadership in a senior management position, preferably as a Managing Director, within the retail or fashion industry.
- Strong business acumen, with the ability to formulate and execute strategic plans and drive financial performance.
- Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams, foster a collaborative culture, and effectively manage change.
- In-depth knowledge of the Scandinavian retail market, including consumer trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory environment.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships, negotiate effectively, and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Results-oriented mindset, with a demonstrated ability to set and achieve ambitious targets while maintaining a customer-centric approach.
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions and identify opportunities for business growth.
- Flexibility to travel within Scandinavia and occasionally internationally.
- Highly motivated, flexible and frequent travels during the weeks Fluent English and Danish language skills are mandatory, Norwegian and/or Swedish would be a plus
