At Academic Work, we can, through our AW Academy, offer a unique opportunity to become a Azure Integration consultant, through a tailored 12-week training program. About the role


If you dream of a career change working in the IT industry, you now have a unique chance to start your journey as an Azure Integration consultant without previous experience: AW Academy educates Azure Integration experts during the spring/summer. After graduation, you are employed via Academic Work and work at Solita with the goal of becoming an employee at Solita after 12 months.

The training is organized in collaboration with AW Academy and Solita and is carried out completely by distance-learning due to the current situation. The training will be held in English digitally. The education lasts 13/6 - 16/9 2022, and the employment begins immediately after graduation.

EDUCATION INFORMATION


The training offers 12 intensive weeks together with other ambitious future colleagues. In addition, there will be support and teaching from competent teachers, where AW Academy, together with you as a future consultant, creates the framework for a steep learning curve.
  • Start-up evening where you meet other selected people who are part of the program and go through the program and receive your material
  • Pre-studies begin before the start of the program: 17/5/2022 - 10/6-2022
  • Start of education: 13/6 2022
  • Graduation: 16/9 2022
  • The first working day and the beginning of your employment: 19/9 2022
  • Workplace after graduation: Solitas office in Copenhagen

The learning method at AW Academy is based on Accelerated Learning, which is an effective path to a new career, for those who are not afraid of an exciting challenge. Our pedagogy is based on current neuro research and involves high pace practical learning, teamwork, and constant feedback through dialogue. Job duties


After graduating from AW Academy, you will get a job and start working as a consultant at Solita via Academic Work. In practice, this means that you live and breathe everyday life at Solita - Academic Work acts as support in the background.

As an Azure Integration consultant, you will be part of their team of 13 people in total. You will work close to the client and have client meetings, and the work tasks will vary. In most cases, you will work with one client/project at a time but sometimes you will be involved in parallel projects.

The role contains tasks and responsibilities such as:

  • Definition of client need
  • Design of solution for the client
  • Create a solution for a client
  • Implementation of the solution
  • Troubleshooting – a lot of it!
  • Testing, maintenance, and problem/bug solving of the solution to the client


We are looking for


  • You are over 18 years old
  • Have a great interest in IT
  • Can communicate in English on a high level, both oral and written
  • Passed the two initial tests
  • Has strong motivation and willingness to carry out a demanding intensive education and work

You do not need any previous experience in the field to be suitable for the job, but you must possess a logical approach to problem-solving, as well as the right motivation and attitude to be able to complete the intensive 12 weeks of training.
