About the role
If you dream of a career change working in the IT industry, you now have a unique chance to start your journey as an application specialist without previous experience: AW Academy educates ServiceNow experts during the spring/summer. After graduation, you are employed via Academic Work and work at Sofigate with the goal of becoming an employee at Sofigate after 12 months.
The training is organized in collaboration with AW Academy and Sofigate and is carried out completely by distance-learning due to the current situation. The training will be carried out together with Sofigate-Finland, so the training will be held in English. The education lasts 8.9.2022 - 13.01.2023. The employment begins immediately after graduation.

Job duties
After graduating from AW Academy, you will get a permanent job and start working as a consultant at Sofigate via Academic Work. In practice, this means that you live and breathe everyday life at Sofigate - Academic Work acts as support in the background.
Working with the ServiceNow system is so-called low code development: you develop and adapt, ie. configure the system through coding, but the emphasis in the work is on combining the system's finished building blocks. The work thus consists of technical work but also of design and specification, which requires business understanding.
Your duties consist of identifying the customers 'business challenges, adapting the ServiceNow platform to meet the customers' needs, maintaining the platform and supporting the customer in its use. At the beginning of your career, you will gather skills through more basic tasks, after which you can continue working on more demanding tasks. We are looking for
- Has a big interest in the IT industry, digitization, problem-solving, and customer service
- Has strong motivation and willingness to carry out a demanding intensive education and work
- Is persistent, flexible, and brave - the intensive training and a new start to the career gives a lot, but also requires a lot
- Speaks and writes fluently in English
- Is over 18 years old
- Has the ability to learn quickly - you get to know that by doing the tests that serve as a start to the whole application process! You do not need any previous experience in the field to be suitable for the job, but you must possess a logical approach to problem-solving, as well as the right motivation and attitude to be able to complete the intensive 12 weeks of training. For those who are selected to participate in the training, this will be the beginning of an exciting career.
EDUCATION INFORMATION
The training offers 12 intensive weeks together with other ambitious future colleagues. In addition, there will be support and teaching from competent teachers, where AW Academy, together with you as a future consultant, creates the framework for a steep learning curve.
- Start-up evening: 08.09.2022. Here you will meet other selected people who are part of the program and go through the program and receive your material
- Pre-studies begin before the start of the program: Date 9.9.2022 – Date 9.10.2022
- Start of education: Date 10.10.2022
- Graduation: 13.01.2023
- The first working day and the beginning of your employment: Date 16.01.2023
