SAFe Epic Owner - App Area, Demant Hearing Instrument Digital Solutions

A pivotal role in an international setup
As SAFe® (Scaled Agile Framework®) Epic Owner on our App and cloud software platform, you will be a driver in the definition and ongoing development of connected digital experiences for hearing care users. A fundamental part of this is the combined App and Cloud platform which acts as the digital partner and control device for hearing care users who wants to get the most out of their hearing experience by tailoring sounds and settings to their preference. The role of the app is to deliver a connected experience as part of a digital ecosystem that allows for efficient care and direct contact to the hearing care professional. You will be a pivotal contributor to a successful launch and implementation of new innovative experiences across the app platform.
In your daily work, you will interact with internal and external stakeholders, users and customers to understand the combined needs. To leverage this knowledge, you will take the role of SAFe® Epic Owner defining the business needs on behalf of users and customers and as SAFe® business owner to help prioritize activities in a completely agile setup.
You can look forward to a wide range of challenging tasks and, in short, you will be involved in:
- Researching and understanding market needs and translate these into a vision, area strategy and Epic hypothesis statements and business cases for the digital solutions area.
- Define and drive the portfolio for your area including working with a roadmap of Epics delivering to the value propositions.
- Ensuring audiological relevance of solutions delivered. In collaboration with clinical expert team.
- Safeguarding software solutions that are easy and intuitive to use.
- Ensuring that we have the necessary knowledge with regards to user needs, customer needs, market trends and competitors.
- Implementing successful PLC management of in-market products incl. product support when needed.
You should expect up to 20 days of travel activities each year.

Qualifications
To become a success in you new position, we expect you to possess most of the following skills and qualifications:
- Educational background in marketing or customer centric software solutions – or ideally a combination.
- Preferably experience working with apps and user design and designing holistic solutions that include both the hearing aid and app and other related Demant solutions into account.
- Passionate about technology, marketing, digital tools.
- Strong stakeholder management and project management skills in a matrix set-up and have a solid ability to manage tough prioritizations in a professional and solution-oriented manner.
- Knows how to systematically work with market needs and a motivation to build and provide customers with user friendly solutions.
- Preferably experienced in Scaled Agile Framework SAFe® and the role of Epic Owner or Business Owner working as a software product manager.
- Preferably + 5 years of relevant experience. Working with medical devices, IT user-based development & design or hearing solutions industries.
