Management consultant with an interest and experience within the public sector

Are you passionate about making a difference in the public sector – and do you have an interest and/or experience with strategic and data-driven consulting, and digital transformations from one or more organizations in the public sector? Then we want to hear from you! Accenture’s Strategy and Consulting department are looking for new colleagues to join our Public Service team and invites people with two to seven years of experience to apply for the position.

As a consultant in the Public Service team, you will develop the public sector

Within the Public Service team, we assist Accenture's public sector clients across municipalities, ministries and agencies, and regions in solving some of society's biggest challenges. As a consultant in the team, the possibilities are many, and depending on your profile and interests, you will handle a wide range of tasks. As an example, you will get the opportunity to work with digital transformations, data-driven management, project and program management, procurement advisory and consulting, advice on new technologies (especially AI and cloud), agile development, organizational and technology strategy, change management, data analysis and implementation of business intelligence, budget analysis, and preparation of business cases.

As a consultant in the Public Service team, you will help our clients with some of their most complex issues, and you will be responsible for leading smaller teams from Accenture depending on your experience and the specific project. In addition, you will have the opportunity to enter a strong collaboration across the Nordic Public Service department where we together develop and strengthen our deep domain insight within the various areas of the public sector in which we have specialized in for many years. In addition to assisting our customers, you will make your mark on the department by contributing to business development, participating in conferences and events, preparing offers, assisting with recruitment, and preparing and participating in customer meetings. Depending on your experience and the level at which you are employed, you will be responsible for helping to sell new tasks to new or existing customers.

We are looking for a new colleague with the following profile:

  • You have two to seven years of relevant work experience – preferably from the consulting industry or an advisory/analytical role

  • You have experience with and/or interest in the public sector

  • Master’s degree relevant for public sector consulting with high grades

  • You have strong analytical skills

  • You can effectively absorb and analyze information and work out creative solutions to complex problems

  • You are a strong communicator in Danish speech as well as in writing

  • You are a team player and naturally creates trust-based relationships

  • You take initiative and responsibility and ensure progress in the tasks you engage in.
