Do you aspire to lead one of the most impactful departments and processes for a company committed to saving lives and geared for growth?
Xellia Pharmaceuticals, a global anti-infective and critical care company is looking for an experienced, pragmatic and resolute Senior Manager to lead its Global Sales and Operations Planning process, grow a talented team of S&OP Partners and contribute beyond the S&OP horizon to long-term feasibility and network optimization decisions.
In this position, you will get the opportunity to own, operate and continuously develop the Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning (SIOP) process across Xellia Pharmaceuticals. In doing so, you will engage with a wide variety of stakeholders, from Site Master Planners and Operations Schedulers to Senior Leadership Team Executives, with the aim of gaining consensus and buy-in across the board.
You will be part of our Global End-to-End Planning group based in Copenhagen, Denmark.
Your key tasks will include:
- managing the tools, planning systems and key performance indicators necessary for the effective execution of the SIOP process (primarily SAP IBP and Power BI)
- driving the mid-term monthly SIOP process and facilitating S&OP meetings from the initial forecast review to the closing Executive Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning (SIOP) sign-off
- coordinating the monthly review of inventory accruals, obsolescence risks and scrap
- owning and developing a comprehensive capacity model to evaluate asset utilization within and beyond the SIOP horizon to identify gaps requiring capacity expansion
- modelling mid-term supply and demand scenarios and mitigation plans as well as long-term network decisions to balance volumes across sites and maximize both service levels and total costs equations
- facilitating, on behalf of Global Supply Chain, feasibility assessments to evaluate upcoming commercial opportunities
- leading and developing a team of three direct reports.
Join a global business function
As you step into a global organization, you will collaborate closely with your colleagues in Global Product Supply (GPS), Global Supply Chain (GSC) and across our business units.
In addition to the Global End-to-End Planning function, your main collaborators will include GPS and Quality Finance, Business Unit Finance, Site Leaders and Managers, Global Manufacturing Science and Technology, R&D as well as the Business Unit and Xellia Leadership Teams. It is therefore key that you show passion, clarity and persistence to build relationships and trust.
A skilled Supply Chain Analyst with industry experience
To succeed in this position, you must be a strong communicator and a self-motivated leader who thrives in an international environment. You are expected to take initiative to improve, and as a person, you can consensually balance contradicting viewpoints and master fast-paced and deadline-driven situations. You are able to obtain knowledge on complex business and technical processes, and you understand how to translate that information and make it accessible to relevant stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Moreover, we believe that you can tick off most of the following attributes or skills:
- a Master Degree in Logistics, Engineering, Supply Chain or similar
- 7+ years of Supply Chain experience from working with Sales and Operations Planning or Integrated Business Planning in a system, preferably SAP IBP
- 3+ years of leadership experience either with direct reports or within a global role with a strong ability to build authority in a matrix organization
- experience developing solutions and long-term strategic plans that integrate with financial goals and infrastructure
- excellent analytical skills and ability to move between a holistic and detailed perspective
- familiar with a variety of supply chain concepts, practices and procedures (e.g., APICS Certification)
- strong presentation skills at senior management level with emphasis on influencing and motivating executive level audiences
- experience with SAP IBP or similar tools and working with tools like Power BI is considered a plus
- an understanding of GxP requirements is a plus – perhaps you have a background in the pharmaceutical industry.
