3Shape is an international, diverse company with a strong focus on the sustainability agenda. Therefore, we are looking for an ambitious student assistant to join our ESG (Environmental Social Governance) team to drive our environmental impact agenda. With this student assistant position, you will be a key driver in calculating and managing our company wide GHG emissions for Scope 1,2 and 3 including implementation of emission reduction initiatives and general support to 3Shape’s sustainability agenda.About the positionYou will report directly to our Senior Manager of Sustainability and work closely with our ESG team to drive 3Shape’s sustainability agenda, including calculating our annual Scope 1,2 and 3 emissions, implementing data collection processes and accounting procedures, as well as implementing global emission reduction initiatives. The position provides a high level of responsibility and autonomy and will include cross-organizational communication and stakeholder management to collect and manage data from different functional areas. Specifically, you will be responsible for:
  • Implementing GHG emission calculations and data collection procedures for 3Shape including Scope 1, 2 and 3 as well as waste, water and resource use emissions, with a specific focus on Scope 3 emission estimates
  • Identifying and implementing emission reduction initiatives
  • General support to the ESG team in developing and managing 3Shape’s sustainability agenda
  • In collaboration with the ESG team, coordinating the collection of environmental impact data for consolidation in 3Shape’s annual Sustainability Report
  • Supporting the development and implementation of global employee engagement on sustainability matters
    • QualificationsThe desired candidate can relate to the following:
  • Practical or theoretical experience calculating environmental impact or similar, including familiarity with the GHG Protocol, Life Cycle Analysis, and the EU CSRD
  • You have minimum one year left in your studies within environmental science, circular economy, accounting and finance, business management and sustainability, environmental and resource management, environmental engineering, environmental and natural resource economics or similar
  • An interest in seeking ways to improve and optimize processes
  • You are excellent in both written and spoken English
  • You have a positive spirit and are a quick learner
    • Further, experience with project and stakeholder management, as well as strong skills and experience managing data collection and reporting is an advantage.
