About the Nordic ERP team
Our Nordic ERP Talent Community is growing! We are looking for an enthusiastic and growth oriented Business Application Finance Lead/Functional Architect to join and expand our Nordic team comprised of Solution Architects, Application Consultants and Technical Architects. We work with Dynamics 365 Finance in collaboration with other Avanade teams skilled in Power Platform, Analytics, Azure Integration Services and Change Management.

More about the role
The Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system is the core and heart of most businesses’ digital transformation strategy. Modern ERP systems help businesses simplify complexity which enables them to move forward and thrive in the digital age. You will be solving your client’s challenges and turning their needs into goals and solutions through Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance. As a D365 ERP Finance Lead, you are responsible for successful scoping and delivery of ERP finance projects to Avanade clients through organization, management and monitoring of people, methodologies, and technologies throughout the project life cycle.
In this role you will:
- Ensure the quality and thoroughness of the analysis performed under your supervision and gather approvals for project deliverables.
- Manage the whole project cycle from scoping, planning, and budgeting to controlling and reporting.
- Be responsible for maintaining requirements and leading work plan tasks, as well as identifying and mitigating risks.
- Be responsible for your team’s delivery, securing the highest possible quality. Furthermore, in this highly demanding role, you will be responsible for complex ERP implementation for enterprise clients.
- Support clients in defining and implementing integrated solutions and liaise closely with all relevant partners and teams to develop effective concepts.
- You will ensure first class client lead and support colleagues in demanding pre-sales projects.

Your expertise and process knowledge means that you are a trusted advisor, guiding the customer through the implementation and advising them of industry best practice. Assignments vary from business case and value proposition creation to working with interesting client engagements as a senior subject matter expert.
The person we are looking for:
- Has ideally a background from a finance and cost accounting environment.
- Has thorough experience with the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance modules and can demonstrate how standard processes are performed on D365 Finance and Operations.
- Has gained a proven track record of successfully delivering in complex, full lifecycle ERP implementations and an understanding of the Dynamics 365 ERP value chain.
- Can analyze the process gaps and identify possible solutions.
- Has working knowledge of at least one software development methodology and knowledge of Microsoft platform skills.
- Feels comfortable facilitating and interacting with the client on all organizational levels.
- Possesses excellent interpersonal skills, is "costumer focused" and a strong relationships builder.
- Has strong time management skills and is resilient, flexible, and able to work both autonomously and in teams.
- Speaks at least one Scandinavian language and has excellent written and spoken English language skills.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Finance Functional Consultant Associate) are highly valued.
Pre-sales experience and background from working with nearshore/offshore teams are seen as an advantage. As a person you have a strong client interface, presentation skills and business acumen.
