Would you like to lead a team of highly capable Specialists in the execution of integrated aerospace systems, focusing on End-to-End solutions and project deliverables form the Technology and Innovation organization (TEC)? You will be responsible for providing leadership for a multi-discipline team of 13 Senior System Engineering and domain specialists, ensuring your team has the support necessary to effectively collaborate with the solution teams, project managers, and the sales team from the Aeronautics Business Area (BA) in development of proposals and execution of programs. Your position is central to the Technology and Innovation area and is responsible for Key Deliverables:

• Ensuring development and execution of product and customer projects for all TEC Self Protection System, (SPS) lifecycle activities including maintenance.
• Ensuring the team has the skills and tools to develop technical solutions that are aligned with stakeholder requirements, solution element teams, and architecture team.
• Ensuring the right competences at the right cost, time and place for the execution of SPS activities including optimal setup of in-house vs. outsourcing capacity and competences
• Secure short time-to-market and competitive cost/benefit.

What are you primary responsibilities and tasks?
You will be responsible for team members who lead product development, system integration, and delivery of TEC integrated aeronautics systems. As a member of the TEC SPS Leadership Team you will be responsible for implementing a culture of high performance, innovation and efficient execution, playing a paramount role in defining and executing the TEC strategy. Additionally, you will engage with internal Stakeholders and external customers to ensure that Terma remains a preferred vendor in the industry.

Key responsibilities include:
• Serve as a member of the TEC Aeronautics Leadership Team, acting as a role model for Terma Leadership Behavior by demonstrating trust, communicating actively, and challenging with expertise. Ensuring a team culture where responsibility, accountability and authority are clearly distributed and understood, and where best practices are visible.
• Support breaking down TEC strategy to strategies and action plans, supporting a culture of continuous improvement.
• Identify, strengthen and embed core competences in the TEC Systems Engineering organization and ensure professional knowledge sharing through internal networks across Terma, as well as ensure strong domain and product knowledge.
• Drive strategy to enusure a culture of innovation and focus on technology roadmaps.
• Serve as focal point for Aeronautics TEC organization in Denmark, related technical communications, and alignment between TEC, project managers, and other relevant parts of Terma Value Chain, including sustainment. Engage in strong collaboration with Systems Engineering leadership in US to ensure a strong global TEC team to support the Aeronautics Business Area.
• Coordinate TEC support to Aeronautics by ensuring Specialists participate in shaping of customer requirements, develop customer architectures and solutions, develop technical volume for sales proposals, achievement of design to cost targets, and support customer projects. Ensure proactive stakeholder management within Terma and towards external stakeholders, involving relevant business stakeholders
• Manage budget for SPS TEC Systems Engineering team.

How to succeed in this position?
The ideal candidate has an an Electrical, Software, Mechanical, Aerospace or Systems engineering degree with 10+ years of experience and a proven track-record in leading technical teams. Behaviors that will ensure success includes:
