The Position You will be responsible and accountable for one of our Process Development teams with approx. 18 employees. The team is responsible for Late Phase process development and establishment for one or more development projects in the oral pipeline. The overall aim is to ensures product quality until transfer for Life Cycle Management (LCM) of the products. Collaboration with our faciality, quality assurance and regulatory affairs department is important to succeed in reaching to the part where we write the filing documents to Health Authorities. Furthermore, the team has a joint responsibility for project/facility coordination and internal projects across the department. The main tasks will be to:
  • Ensure high performance as well as internal project timelines and quality and organizational goals are met
  • Establish effective resource allocation in your team
  • Provide leadership and spur continuous development of the team members.
    • Since we are breaking new land, prioritization, and willingness to adapt to changes and new priorities is key for success. You will be a member of the Product Development & Launch Management team and you will participate in cross-organizational projects and collaborations. Moreover, you will lead the way and be a role model in a LEAN culture where openness, honesty and focus on continuous improvements are natural parts of your personality. Qualifications To succeed in this role, you:
  • Hold a master’s or equivalent degree in Pharmacy, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, or other relevant scientific discipline
  • Understand the tablet process from the pharmaceutical industry
  • Preferably have experience from process development
  • Preferably you have a min. of 5 years people management experience, but we will also consider less experience if there is a match in personality
  • Are fluent in Danish and English.

The position requires engagement and ability to find solutions in challenging situations. About the Department Product Development & Launch employs approx. 100 highly skilled and motivated employees, and we are still growing. Today we are organized in 6 teams. The department holds the full responsibility of developing Oral Drug product projects going into phase 3 clinical trials until after submission and launch. Our responsibility cowers Product and Process development, incl. Process Analytical Technology as a new strategic focus. The department was established less than 6 months ago, and we are therefore in an ongoing process of setting up and impacting working procedures.
