To succeed with this goal, we are currently looking for new Project Developers who will have significant responsibility for accelerating the company’s growth in Denmark to ensure the development of sustainable energy projects.
Become responsible for the full project cycle from origination to final investment decision in our core market
In cooperation with the organization, you will be responsible for end-to-end project development of large-scale biogas plants. The BD team has complete responsibility for the full project cycle, from origination to final investment decision. Nature Energy is the world-leading biogas company, with a strategy to be a frontrunner in Biogas 3.0, where PtX and e-fuels are natural components of our biogas projects.
You will therefore be a part of a multi-disciplinary team, where you will play a lead role. Some of your tasks and responsibilities will include:
Project identification:
- Examine and prioritize project opportunities
- Examine and identify ideal locations for new projects and possible new partners
- Recommend projects for full development
Project development:
- Identify, establish, and maintain professional and long-term relations with vital stakeholders such as partners, politicians, suppliers, trade associations, and other local key stakeholders
- Put together and lead project teams around each project
- Calculate risk, biomass, and key figures together with finance colleagues and other specialists within Nature Energy
- Key Account responsibility for major cooperation partners such as industrial partners
- Handling challenges through the whole project development process in cooperation with your colleagues and our specialists
- Take responsibility for the final investment decision
Your workplace can be either at our headquarter in Odense or our office in Aarhus. Here you will become a part of the Nordic Business Development team and report to our VP Head of Nordics, Ulrik Vestenbæk. You need to be present in Odense two days per week.
Project Developer with great interpersonal and communication skills
We are looking for a dedicated person with some years of experience with project development, preferably within infrastructure or agriculture, and/or renewable energy. The candidate must also demonstrate great project management skills and experience with negotiating and stakeholder management.
As a person, you communicate well with colleagues and stakeholders across functions and areas of expertise. Therefore, you must possess great interpersonal skills and maintain good relations. It will also be an advantage if you have an eye for sensing the political environment and can manage the unpredictability of various agendas and interests.
We are ideally looking for a person who is driven, structured, and detail oriented. You must be able to drive a new project from the early beginning and execute on all practical issues and you will also need a great understanding of business cases, financial models, and enjoy working with complex issues.
As we are an international organization, you will need to be fluent in both written and verbal Danish and English.
