The PositionAs an Engineering Responsible you will be hired into a newly established team who will support our project department with design of facility and technical solutions. Based on the requirements of the process you will make suggestions within design, equipment, components, and physical construction. You contribute to all aspects from design, layout, choice of supplier, purchasing, construction, qualification, validation, and documentation.You contribute to implementation of engineering standards, which ensures that all technical, quality- and safety input are adjusted and implemented. To sum up - you ensure and live up to good engineering practice as a user representative in our projects.You will be working in close collaboration with many different stakeholders both internally and externally to ensure high quality, efficiency, reliability, and stability in our upcoming production facility.It will be necessary to have availability for travelling at some point.Right now, the workplace will be at our project office in Høje Taastrup but will within the coming year be in Odense.QualificationsTo succeed in this role, you have:

An academic degree within Mechanical Engineering, Marine Engineering or similar

+2 years of experience with working on projects and you have worked with design of equipment and installations, including validation and qualification; or if you have recently graduated, we are open to meet you.

You can make concrete requirements to production equipment and have knowledge within automation, electricity knowledge, regulation, and measurement technique.

Strong competences within production equipment and utilities. Experience within the pharmaceutical industry is an advantage.

Full proficiency in written and spoken English, Danish is an advantage.

About the DepartmentNovo Nordisk is significantly increasing its manufacturing capacity across all areas to serve more patients in the coming years.
Our department is working to expand the capacity of our Biotech and Rare Disease production. The highly automated facility will be equipped with state-of-the-art technology that is flexible to accommodate new processes and products. It will expand our packaging and assembly capacity to serve more people living with serious chronic diseases including rare diseases.
