Are you getting inspired by MAKEEN Energy’s transition initiatives towards sustainable energy- and waste conversion technologies? Then here’s an opportunity to join the team as AutoCAD Plant3D admin Manager.
You would be joining MAKEEN Energy’s (ME) subsidiary Makeen EnviroTech, at present strongly focusing on the pioneering Plastcon concept, where the first full scale project is currently rolling out.
The Plastcon technology, through a complex multitechnological process, converts waste plastic to a number of reusable streams, focused specifically on oil that can be refined to various uses. Among these, re-production of plastic products, thus enabling a circular approach to manufacturing, usage and re-usage of plastic products.
ME’s subsidiary Gas Solutions has decades long experience developing and bringing to market customized LPG-filling plants. Based on the acquired substantial gas-technological knowhow, Gas Solutions is now also engineering and supplying customized process plants, making the greener alternative fuels LNG and LBG (liquefied natural- and bio gasses) available for end use.
On a group level the AutoCAD Plant3D governance is anchored in EnviroTech focused on the selection, coordination, procedural and methodological standardization of the combined Plant3D platform. The current software platform is comprised of Autodesk products such as AutoCAD (Plant og Plant 3D), Inventor, Navisworks, Vault etc.

Areas of responsibility:
- Execute group-wide governance of techniques and standards for AutoCAD Plant3D - and project documentation
- Coordinate with stakeholders (engineers, designers etc.) to define, implement and monitor design standards, Piping Spec requirements, file structure and drawing templates
- Likewise for the development, implementation and maintenance of document libraries
- Assuring standardized guidelines for arranging piping and cabling incl. supports and trays
- Ad hoc identification of opportunities and recommendations for increasing workflow efficiencies
- Provide guidance to piping designers and ensure standards are followed
- Lead CAD-specialist network, train and supervise CAD-specialists
- Maintain CAD hardware and -software systems
- Manage support documentation and training materials
- Trouble shooting of Plant 3D user level and advanced user level problems
Professional qualifications:
- Likely 5+ years of relevant experience from technological project-/process business(es)
- Knowledge (practical) with piping and cabling in complex process plants, as well as a good understanding of process equipment in general
- Experience with (2D, 3D) plant layout, arrangement drawings, PFD’s, PID’s, pipe isometrics etc.
- Knowledge on ISA instrumentation system, PIP practices as well as international codes and practices, such as ASME, EN, DIN etc.
- Used to playing a coordinating role in an environment with many stakeholders in more locations
- High level of knowledge with Autodesk products as well as MS-office products and ERP systems
- Functions well with different nationalities and cultures
- Good proficiencies in English written as well as spoken
