We are searching for two new employees to work cross organisation within data quality and governance
This position is based at our friendly office in Roskilde, and you will join our Data Architecture & Governance team as a data architect. The Enterprise Data Management area is in charge of governance to ensure trustworthy data and information.
The position offers the opportunity to improve upon and truly impact our data governance and quality management. We also support data stewards (our best friends) on data governance – our area is responsible for data stewardship in bec. You will be in a team of fantastic data- and information architects and interact with many strong data stewards across different business domains in bec. Your key stakeholders will be data stewards, architects, system- and business owners as well as the customers.
At bec, we prefer to collaborate often in the office, but we also keep the opportunity to work remotely up to two days a week.
Primary task and responsibilities include:
- Change management for the data quality and data governance agenda
- Mature and rolling out data quality processes, standards, and reporting framework
- Improve data governance by design and classification of information
- Improving our technical data quality platform and its measurements
- Ensure transparent roadmaps
- Secure consistency in critical data elements under governance
- Collaboration with customers – the banks
To succeed you:
- Spearheading efforts to improve and optimize data quality management and data governance by design
- Are optimistic and motivated by influencing cross organization
- Can communicate knowledge and results in a clear and simple way
- Be able to form and implement needed accountability, standards, and processes in the organization in our pursuit for higher data quality
- Are a proactive and self-driven problem solver who takes the initiative to drive forward
- Have a curious mind with an open nature and desire to knowledge-share with others
- Are fluent in English and Danish (written and spoken)
It is important you have a “go do” attitude and a passion for data, the use of data, as well as the quality side of this. We are here to make a difference – and so are you. It is an advantage if you have been working within the financial sector and/or as a data governance specialist. For us it is natural that you join as a distinct team player, are visionary and innovative within your area, and possess strong communication skills.
It’s nice-to-have:
- Experience in agile ways of working and data stewardship
- Experience working with data ethics, data classification, data catalog and enterprise risk management
