With direct reference to our Head of Business Intelligence, you will become a part of a continuously growing team of dedicated colleagues responsible for the operation and development of Business Intelligence in Kamstrup. Together, we strive to provide excellent support and data analyses that enables data-driven decisions in the business which is crucial for strategy realization. Today, we are harvesting the fruits of early investment and empowerment of the Business Intelligence, which means that our foundation is on the forefront of BI journeys in Danish corporations.
A job with a high impact on design and architecture
In the newly established position as Business Intelligence Developer, you will, together with the rest of our BI team, take a leading role in the transition of our existing DW and Power BI solution into a modern Self Service Data Platform designed for future demands. You will have an impact on the design and architecture to secure the right data to the right people at the right time and you will experience how the organization welcome the insights you are facilitating.
As our new Business Intelligence Developer, your primary responsibilities will be to build and maintain our Modern BI Data Platform. In addition, you will participate in the daily support of our existing DW and integration of new data sources etc.
Personality matters
We imagine that you have an educational background such as Cand. Merc. in Business Intelligence, Finance or similar. You are either very experienced in SQL/SSIS/SSAS and wants to learn and work with Azure in the future, or you have already been working with the BI tools in Azure for a couple of years (Data Factory/ Synapse Analytics etc.). In addition, it is an advantage, if you have experience with DBT, Power Bi and DAX.
As a person, you work independently, structured, and have an eye for details. You have a best practice mindset and strive to deliver high quality work with the right amount of documentation. You are passionate about the technology and keep yourself updated with the newest tools and trends - and have a critical approach to which ones to adopt and incorporate.
It is a requirement that you speak and write English fluently. Danish is an advantage.
