Do you want to work in truly global projects? Would you like to ensure that Demant’s business entities can generate and deliver high quality business documents to their customers? Would you like to digitalize business processes using e-business solutions e.g., Electronic Document Interchange (EDI)? Would you like to be the liaison connecting business and IT? Would you like to do configuration and low-code programming? Do you have hands-on experience with business system in a retail, wholesale, or manufacturing company?
You will be joining our Global IT Organization which has more than 400 employees with main hubs in Denmark, Poland, North America, and Asia Pacific region. This organization plays an essential role when it comes to reaching the business goals of Demant.
Work with Document and Label printing solutions across our entire business
In your daily work, you will act as a liaison between our IT Business teams, our solution vendors and business stakeholders to understand the requirements, requirements and needs of any project. This is all done to streamline our business processes as part of our digital business transformation. Furthermore, you will play an important role in implementing Microsoft Dynamic 365 globally. Here you will be working together with your colleagues and our vendors and ensuring that our future solution meets business requirements.
Your main Responsibilities
You will address and specify technical and requirements including integration needs. Your key tasks in the role to:
· Take ownership and coordinate activities within the Output Management and EDI solutions area
· Participate in all IT project phases from requirement specification over implementation to hand-over to IT operations
· Handle requests, make sure (regression) tests are performed and coordinate releases
· Act as application specialist
· Sparring with our IT architects, consultants, and developers
· Establish Center of Excellence for Document Output
As our new IT Application Lead, you will be part of a department with 16 colleagues. They work in sub-teams that design, deliver and supports integration, RPA, and printing solutions across Demant. You will have daily contact with team colleagues and peers in other IT teams and business functions.
From the stakeholder perspective you will be the one translating the business needs into IT requirements. This means that you will be discovering possible gaps and eventually recommend solutions that enable our organization to achieve its digital goals.
Your role will be to maintain and expand our existing Document Output and EDI setup. Furthermore, you will play an important role in establishing a modernized and expanded setup in connection with our global rollout of Microsoft Dynamic 365 F&SCM.

We expect you to have a bachelor or master’s degree in IT, business, or economics or similar. You have hands-on experience with at least one ERP solution from a business or IT department, where you have worked with IT solutions in a large international company maybe in retail, wholesale, or manufacturing industry. Most likely, you to have experience with low-code development, SQL databases, as well as EDI or printing solutions, e.g. Lasernet, but this is not a requirement. Maybe you are already an IT Application Lead, IT Consultant/Supporter, or an IT Superuser looking for new opportunities. Regardless of your background, you have operated in an international environment.
As a person, you are highly responsible, structured, easy going and able to communicate easily with colleagues at all levels – no matter where they are based around the world. Furthermore, interpreting, understanding, and solving complicated problems is second nature to you.
