Do you want to play a key role in running the SAFe (Scaled agile framework) development model? Would you like to help us efficiently optimize our business through Lean Portfolio Management? Do you enjoy enabling and facilitating structured process and governance?

If your answer is “Yes”, you should come join our Value Management Office (VMO) team as our new Value Management Officer reporting to the Director of Portfolio Planning in Portfolio Management.

Portfolio Management is responsible for defining the future solutions. We are a group of highly qualified, ambitious, and passionate people forming a link between virtually all functions and departments of the organization – both commercial and technical. We are a very diverse group with many nationalities, professional backgrounds and set of competencies.

Where are we on the journey?
Over the past two years, we have implemented SAFe in several areas and are on the verge of adding more. So truly exciting times ahead!
Currently we have established Lean Portfolio Management (LPM) and launched 6 Agile Release Trains and more will be joining soon. We implement SAFe according to the practices defined by Scaled Agile and we intend to stay on par with the latest edition of the SAFe agile framework – currently SAFe 6.0.

Your key responsibilities will include facilitating the alignment of strategic goals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, and ensuring the delivery of value through Lean-Agile principles and practices.

Furthermore, you, as part of the VMO team, will play a key role getting the LPM up and running in the new areas and get our various LPM events to fully operate.

Responsibilities
• As Value Management Officer, you will be part of our Lean Governance and Portfolio Operations that coordinates and supports our Agile program execution
• Plan and facilitate guardrails, and coordinate portfolio governance (Portfolio Sync and Strategic Portfolio Review)
• Coordinate and align value stream cadence and integration points (pre- and post PI planning)
• Ensure value stream feedback and report out to our strategic portfolio reviews
• Update portfolio Kanban and consolidate roadmaps
• Monitor portfolio execution, gather insights and facilitate knowledge sharing
• Ensure that the right processes and events are in place to secure that development work is linked to business strategies.
• Apply lean-agile leadership & promote SAFe Best Practices for Portfolio & ART level leaders.
• Establish Lean Agile Metrics & KPI’s and automate reporting through our Enterprise Portfolio tool for organizational transparency.

Qualifications
There can be several ways into this role. Most importantly, you find motivation in improving the way we work through Lean Portfolio Management (LPM) in the Scaled Agile Framework and you are excited at the prospect of joining the VMO team.

If you are the right candidate, we will provide the training and support that allows you to thrive and be successful in the role.

Ideally, you bring;
• Relevant educational background like Engineer, Cand. Merc and/or MBA with focus on leadership and strategic processes.
• Certification in/experience with the SAFe agile framework development processes.
• Experience in relevant role(s) within the SAFe framework.
• Previous experience working with Lean Portfolio Management is a plus but not a requirement.
• Structured project/program leader competences with a high level of drive and personal impact.
• Ability to understand complex projects/programs/products.
• Excellent English facilitation & communication skills both in terms of expectation management, speaking, presenting but also written is a must.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, a strong networker by nature and a dismantler of silos.
• Strong tactician combined with a strong operational focus.
• Strong knowledge of agile collaboration tools like Jira, Jira Align, Confluence, MIRO and software tools like PowerPoint, Excel, Power BI.
