The role As Director and Head of Digital, Data & IT (DD&IT) Development Product Owners, you will be responsible for partnering with the business to define and deliver on the digital portfolio for our Development organisation. You will be engaging with many stakeholders while being People Leader for 10-15 experienced employees working as product owners/project managers across projects. Key responsibilities are:
  • Director for the new department “Development Product Owners” with the responsibility of managing the digital portfolio in Development and DD&IT Dev’s strategy in collaboration with the digital transformation team in Development. The department consists of project managers/product owners facing our Development organisation (LoB)
  • Responsible for supporting an efficient portfolio management process and execution, taking epics from discovery to execution in collaboration with many different stakeholders
  • People Leader responsibilities such as hiring, onboarding, career development, performance management etc. and with a strong focus on ensuring teamness and belonging for employees working across teams and projects
    • What we are looking for We believe that the right candidate for this role comes with a background from which most of the following can be ticked off:
  • A master’s or similar graduate degree in relevant field, which could be in Software Engineering, Economics, Computer Science, Business Administration, or equivalent job experience.
  • 8+ years professional experience whereof most of them are in a people leading role.
  • Solid experience with (SAFe) agile product development.
  • Strong system and service management experience.
  • Proven track record of successful stakeholder management, as well as experience leading and managing complex projects and teams.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Experience within the Pharma industry is preferred but not a requirement.
    • With English as our business language, it is a requirement to be fluent in both written and speaking. The team waiting for you In this role, you will be joining the leadership team of the area Digital, Data & IT (DD&IT) Development. It’s an area with +200 diverse and dedicated employees working in Denmark (Søborg and Måløv) and India (Bangalore) supporting Novo Nordisk’s development organisation in their digital strategy. In DD&IT Development, you will be leading a new department called “DD&IT Dev Product Owners” consisting of product owners and project manager already working in Novo Nordisk. In DD&IT Development we work with our colleagues in the Development business area to drive and support the digitalisation.
