If you pride yourself with extensive knowledge on collaboration in Teams, communication in SharePoint or Automation in Power Platform, and always see solutions in the eyes of the end user, you could be the new team player in our Employee Experience team.

About the role

In DFDS, more than 5000 office-based employees create, collaborate and communicate in Microsoft 365. In the Employee Experience team we govern, support and develop the platform to enable the business to release the full potential. This means ensuring the best adoption, building the right portals and developing the perfect workflows and applications.

Together with 9 colleagues you will work with stakeholders across the entire business to make sure that requirements for any project are well defined and well scoped. DFDS has a policy of “Standard First”, which means that we want to challenge any requirement that calls for developed customization of the platform. 

As DFDS is constantly evolving and expanding we need to keep pushing for solid solutions, that we take responsibility for, and that drives the digitization strategy set forth in the organization.

What kind of exciting challenges can you expect to meet in this role?  

Whether Teams, SharePoint or Power Platform is your thing is not important. If you master one, chances are you know of the other and we are happy to train you to master them all. As a Microsoft 365 Specialist you’re ready to own the role and carry the torch towards the business, spreading your knowledge, and help define the boundaries of how we work in DFDS. It might be teaching the tricks to zen-like collaboration in Teams, guiding our intranet editors on the best configuration of a new hub site, or even do the configuration for them, or it might be the creation of a new Power App for one of the million manual process we want to digitize. The playing field is open, and there is a ton of exciting work to do.

Additional tasks:  

Beside the above we also expect you to:

  • Keep up to date on the lates roadmap additions and releases from Microsoft. 

  • Engage and review with external vendors on add-ons or additional systems needed to drive usage of the platform.

  • Be prepared to assist on tasks in the team, falling short of your primary area of expertise.



About you

With this in mind, we think that you have a strong technical background and several years of experience from working with Microsoft 365. You’re structured, self-disciplined and good at managing projects and stakeholders.

We imagine that you have the following qualifications:   

  • Broad knowledge of the various services in Microsoft 365 and the Power Platform

  • Experience with Enterprise level Power Platform solutions or larger intranet projects

  • +5 years of working with IT

  • Preferably a degree in IT but not a requirement

  • Strong analytical skills



  • Great communication skills

  • High skills in requirement analysis and specification

  • Strong English skills as English is our corporate language
