We are looking for a Systems Engineer to join our development team. The software you will help develop, provides situational awareness for Danish Navy ships through surveillance, maritime safety, and combat purposes at sea.
You will find your colleagues and involved customers to be open and welcoming, with a lot of knowledge they gladly share. You will be in a Scrum team of 5 to 10 people in the C2 organization of around 100 highly engaged colleagues working in interdisciplinary, and self-managed teams based on agile principles.

Your role and tasks
As a Systems Engineer, you will:
- Analyze business needs and convert them to product requirements.
- Assist with writing, reviewing, and releasing test specifications based on requirements.
- Present customer needs to the development team.
- Identify and drive iterative product improvements.
- Write and maintain documentation.
- Collaborate with other System Engineers to define product solutions.
- Collaborate with testers to maintain quality.
- Collaborate with many other stakeholders.

You have at least one of the following:
- Military, naval or maritime training – preferably as a technical specialist.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science or similar.
- Experience with software development.
You as a person:
- Patient and analytical with an attention to detail.
- A team player who values collaboration over individual performance.
- Articulate in written and spoken English.
- Good at multitasking without forgetting important details.
- Perseverance and loyalty are important personal qualities – as we work with projects which span years or decades you must maintain the trust of customers and partners.
Additional skills, which may be useful:
- Testing or QA
- UI/UX design
- Python programming
- Networking, Linux, and hardware configuration
- Scrum
