Junior Commercial Analyst – Student Position

Become a central part of analyzing and developing our market data and business forecasting
Commercial Development is part of the New Business Development area of Ferrosan Medical Devices, where new product ideas and concepts are being developed. We support New Business Development and other areas of the organization with commercial assessments and support such as, business case development, pricing and forecast models, market trends and surveillance of products, business intelligence, etc.
We are always looking for new and smarter ways of applying our data – and we are now looking for a Junior Commercial Analyst to be part of this journey.
Your role
As our Junior Commercial Analyst in Commercial Development, you will take part in the ownership of our market data, that we receive from various internal and external sources and provide high quality assessments that will be used as baseline for strategic decisions. You will also:

As Commercial Development is a small team, we have many overlapping activities. It is therefore important that you are a team player and enjoy working on projects together with others. Ferrosan Medical Devices develops and produces a portfolio of medical devices used in surgical care. Our portfolio consists of various hemostatic products to minimize bleeding challenges in surgery and electromechanical medical devices to perform breast biopsies. We are an international company with products registered in more than 100 countries. Our products are marketed in collaboration with global medtech partners. New ideas are developed and matured from the first thought to finished implementation in production. And we manage the business with an uncompromising focus on quality based on current GMP requirements.

Your role
As our Junior Commercial Analyst in Commercial Development, you will take part in the ownership of our market data, that we receive from various internal and external sources and provide high quality assessments that will be used as baseline for strategic decisions. You will also:
- Analyze market data and support the development of business cases, pricing analyses and sales forecasts
- Develop commercial assessments for many different areas of the organization, incl. our management and board
- Provide commercial support to our development/innovation projects and thereby enable new growth opportunities
- Support activities and communication with external data providers
- Communicate and share data with strategic partners and customers
- Own the maintenance of our Business Intelligence setup
About you
It is important that you have a natural interest in data and analytics, as well as the ability to communicate/present complex information clearly. We imagine that you are:
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor or master program in Business Development, Economics, Finance, Data Science or similar
- Experience from a similar student role and industry is a plus
- Solid financial and analytical abilities
- Ability to assess and build business cases and forecasts
- Ability to work and communicate with many different functions
- Great English communication skills – both oral and written
- Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills
- A good eye for detail and a team player
