The position
As an Intern, you will be part of a Study Programme comprised of several ambitious and experienced project managers from different countries and backgrounds. During your internship, you will take ownership of numerous tasks which will vary widely. Furthermore, you will work closely with multiple and diverse cross-functional stakeholders and several external vendors.
Your responsibilities are included, but not limited to: Supporting our internal communication strategy, communication package development and stakeholder management Driving the online communication channels Creating and/or implementing materials for patients and healthcare professionals Preparing for global meetings/conferences as well as ad hoc and administrative tasks Practicalities: Internship period: 6 months Working hours: Flexible (min. 20 and max. 37 hours a week) Location: Søborg, Denmark Internships are remunerated if your educational track allows A Danish full-time work permit is required Students must be enrolled at a university through the entire internship period. Both the internship period and working hours will be flexible to accommodate school projects/exams. This Internship is an opportunity for a unique learning experience and a chance to turn theories into practice.
Qualifications
We are looking for an Intern with an interest in Strategic Communication and Project Management. You are currently studying for your Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Communication, Marketing, Pharmacy, Engineering, or another relevant field.
To succeed in this role, you need: General knowledge of clinical trials Fluency in both written & spoken English Project management skills with wise decision-making Service-minded with problem-solving skills As a person, you are outgoing with a strong personal drive and dedication. Your strong interpersonal skills assist you in creating trustful relations across professions, and you bring a healthy sense of humour to your work – even when the pressure is on.
About the department
You will be working in a dynamic and international team in Study Programmes within Global Medical Affairs in Søborg. The department is part of Global Medical Affairs, a unit within R&D at . In close collaboration with key internal stakeholders in Global Development, we provide strategic communication support to complex clinical trials by motivating and engaging the doctors, nurses, and patients involved in our most important clinical trials. We call it the Scientific Recruitment & Retention (SRR) Programmes.
This includes the establishment of internal and external governance bodies supporting the trials, preparation of communication strategies, development, and implementation of materials to patients and healthcare professionals, and finally project management of global meetings/conferences with key opinion leaders and HCPs.
