Group Sustainability Reporting Specialist to DOVISTA

In the role as Group Sustainability Reporting Specialist, you will lead the DOVISTA Group’s ESG Reporting process. The tasks include optimising end-to-end processes, integrating leading ESG reporting standards and acting as go-to-person regarding the ESG Accounting and Reporting practices. You will work closely with colleagues in the team, in finance, and across the organization to build a state-of-the-art and value adding reporting foundation that secures progress in DOVISTA’s sustainability journey.
DOVISTA’s sustainability strategy has four key pillars: Conduct Responsible Business, Enable the Customer, Fight Climate Change, and Grow Our People. Currently, there are 11 Sustainability initiatives ongoing, and where ESG reporting represents a strategic initiative on its own, as well as serving as the foundation for transparent progress on strategic KPIs.
You will report to the Head of Group Sustainability that is part of the CTO organisation covering Products, Sustainability & Strategy. Work location can be in a hybrid setup, with primary work location at the head office in Horsens.
You are a key driver to achieve assurance qualified ESG reporting
You will play an instrumental role in realising DOVISTA’s ambitions to advance, professionalise, and optimize ESG Reporting. ESG Reporting is strategically important, and our ambitions includes data quality that qualifies for assurance as well as trusted insights to drive performance of the sustainability agenda. Your tasks will range from data analysis and controlling non-financial data in the ESG reporting, over process optimisation projects to support data quality and development of systems and services together with colleagues across the business. Your colleagues and stakeholders will include Group Finance and Operations, and as part of VKR Group, you will also enjoy collaboration with VKR Finance and VELUX ESG Finance & Sustainability.
Sustainability is a continuously evolving area, and you will have a centrally placed role in influencing and structuring these activities into value-adding reporting. Your main responsibilities will include:
- Define, control, and analyse cross-organisational sustainability data.
- Assist the organisation in preparing for audits.
- Pay particular attention to enhancing Emission Measurement, ensuring that DOVISTA can measure, track and document reductions.
- Support and advise stakeholders and local business units responsible for ESG reporting.
- Analyse and review reporting and controls, including assisting stakeholders in identifying and implementing additional controls and options for automation.
- Contribute with qualitative data and facts to the annual sustainability report.
Reporting Specialist with a passion for ESG and for making a difference
You are passionate about Sustainability and making a difference. You are proactive and persistent in realising your ambitions. In your daily work, you are curious about and interested in understanding Sustainability across all its facets. Though having a good eye for details and being a data-cruncher, you are also able to fly high and think at an abstract level, appreciating that your deliveries are directly used in the annual reporting. Towards your surroundings, you are communicative and genuinely interested in collaborating with and supporting your colleagues in generating qualitative data.
Professionally, you are most likely working with similar tasks related to ESG and Sustainability in general, and specifically, you are familiar with following:
- Experience with financial or non-financial data reporting and controlling.
- Knowledge of ESG or Sustainability standards and schemes.
- Project coordination or management skills that enables you to drive data reporting through others.
- Ability to develop ESG process controls and documentation.
- Academic credentials on bachelor or master level in Finance, Economics or similar.
- Fluency in spoken and written English.
