As the head of Project Controls, you will have a varied workday with a wide range of responsibilities and a broad network across the organization. In the broadest sense Project Controls has hands-on with our projects, supporting and working alongside project management and part of our project execution organization ensuring that projects are delivered in accordance with customer and project demands.

How you might spend your days
As the head of Project Controls, you will have a varied workday with a wide range of responsibilities and a broad network across the organization. In the broadest sense Project Controls has hands-on with our projects, supporting and working alongside project management and part of our project execution organization ensuring that projects are delivered in accordance with customer and project demands.
As the Head of Project Controls, you will refer to the CVP and Head of Project Execution, and your key responsibilities will be:
- Demonstrate leadership and daily management within the Project Controls discipline area consisting of approximately 90 highly qualified employees and internal consultants - and a management team of five experienced managers.
- Provide strategic guidance linked with our overall project execution strategy and close cooperation with NNE Management on a strategic level.
- High level corporate project reporting and analysis of our large and complex portfolio.
- To apply your extensive knowledge within Estimating, Procurement, Contract Management, Risk Management and Project Controlling.
- Encourage commercial behavior and build close customer relations and stakeholder management at different levels of the NN organization (our main customer) as well as relevant industry stakeholders.

The miles you’ve walked
To apply for the position there are some things that are needed, and others are a bonus. We believe these qualifications are needed for you to do well in this role:
- Significant experience in the project controls industry for EPC projects either as the project controls manager or as a senior lead on Estimating, Cost Controls or Planning & Scheduling.
- Relevant academic background (Master’s degree).
- 10+ years of relevant experience.
- Comprehensive knowledge within leadership and organizational development.
- Demonstrated experience in coaching and mentoring, building effective teams, facilitation, and training.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken. Our corporate language is English.
- Experience within Risk Management.
- Experience within Estimating and Cost Management.
- Experience within Planning/scheduling.
- Experience within Procurement & Contract management.
- Experience within Earned Value Management.
