Student assistant - Procurement Analytics at Flügger (approx. 15-20 hours per week)

As a student assistant within Procurement Analytics, you will be assisting our Procurement Analyst in taking procurement data to the next level and providing meaningful insights to both our strategic and operational procurement specialists. You will have own area of responsibilities but also work closely together with the Procurement Analyst, other colleagues in Procurement and the PowerBI team in IT.

Your key responsibilities will be:

• Update and present monthly KPI’s at team meetings.
• Development of additional measurements & key performance figures, such as defining and maintaining the process enabling Flügger to measure spend under contract and much more.
• Update and further development of market index report presented in Power Point to your colleagues. This includes updating graphs, search new relevant market indexes, storytelling, presenting and more.
• Working with data structure, data establishment and data enhancement in the spend cube. This includes ensuring correct data foundation, such as classifying items, vendors, datasheets etc. in our ERP system.
• Development and maintenance of cost breakdown model, risk tool and other relevant data models, in collaboration with colleagues.
• Support to procurement colleagues with ad-hoc data, insights, and tool & application support such as plastic consumption.
• Contribution to continued development of relevant PowerBI tools and other applications

Your profile

You have a strong interest in data & analytics and have a structured approach. We expect you to be self-motivated and driven, as well as curious to new tasks and challenges. To succeed, you need to collaborate well across multiple functions and have good communication skills. Furthermore, we expect you to:

• Study to become a Bachelor or Master of Data Science, HA(mat), HA(Almen), Economy or the like (at least two years into the studies preferred)
• Be result-oriented, open-minded and to work proactively and dedicated
• Find pragmatic solutions by applying methods and theory with strong understanding of business needs
• Be fluent in English, written and verbal
• Knowledge within Excel & Power Point is required, and knowledge within PowerBI, SSMS and MDS is an advantage.
